Choosing your power option
Battery or wired?
Choose rechargeable power for a cable-free look while the artwork is lit, or a wired setup for regular plug-in use.

Compare the two options
| Your preference | Consider |
|---|---|
| No power cable visible while the painting is lit | Rechargeable battery |
| Regular use with a nearby power outlet | Wired |
| Flexible placement away from an outlet | Rechargeable battery, with access for charging |
The wired option connects to its power supply when you want the painting to light up. The rechargeable option has its battery integrated inside the artwork, and you connect the supplied adapter when it needs charging.
The light system is integrated into the painting. It reveals selected details after dark while the artwork remains a complete canvas image during the day.
What “up to 10 nights” means
Up to 10 nights per charge, when used for up to 4 hours each evening at approximately 30–50% brightness.
I choose the capacity of the Samsung lithium-ion battery pack to suit the artwork size. That means a small painting and a large painting do not necessarily use the same battery.
The quoted duration describes this evening-use pattern. Actual time between charges depends on brightness and how long the lights are on; it is not a promise of ten nights at full brightness or uninterrupted operation for a fixed number of hours.
You can schedule automatic on and off times for selected hours and days using the app. Set a schedule that matches when you enjoy the painting, and use the dimmer to choose a comfortable brightness.
Charging and everyday use
With the painting switched off, smaller artworks take up to 3 hours to charge and larger artworks up to 5 hours. The charging indicator is red while charging and green when fully charged.
You can enjoy the light effect while the battery charges. The battery version can also remain connected to its supplied power adapter for continuous plugged-in use. The charging times above describe charging with the painting switched off.
Keep access to the charging port in mind when choosing the artwork’s position. On paintings with an external frame, the port is normally at the bottom; a different placement can be discussed with the artist before ordering. Use the supplied power adapter.
Non-standard technical requirements
The standard power setup is included in your selected product configuration. A specific voltage, a non-standard type of power supply, or a custom controller integration such as Zigbee or WLED is a separate custom requirement and is quoted individually.
If your interior project needs a particular setup, describe it to the artist before ordering so the requirements can be considered together.
Quick answers
Can the battery version light up while charging?
Yes. It can illuminate while charging and can remain connected to the supplied adapter for continuous use.
Is the same battery used in every artwork?
No. Battery capacity is chosen according to the painting’s size.
Are Zigbee and WLED part of the standard configuration?
No. These are custom controller integrations, considered and quoted separately.
